Her approach supports the effective planning and execution of strategic outcomes while reducing the need for rework.
Building on this deep delivery and governance experience, Cherrie is now extending her expertise into the field of enterprise AI transformation. She is among the first in Australia undertaking certification as an AI-Native Foundations and AI-Native Change Agent, reflecting her commitment to leading responsible and human-centred AI adoption. It underscores Cherrie’s deep understanding of project management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
In governance roles, Cherrie has worked alongside Boards to ensure decisions align with organisational strategy and risk appetite. She has served as Company Secretary and Governance Board Member at the Australian Transformation & Turnaround Association and Hunter Homeless Connect, where her contributions were pivotal in shaping strategic direction and strengthening governance.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Cherrie is actively engaged in social causes, supporting Guide Dogs QLD through fundraising and volunteer work. She is passionate about creating inclusive, connected communities and advancing diversity and equality in leadership.
Our Values
At ACTUS we have an ingrained culture of inclusion and diversity, focusing on shared values, experiences and aspirations. They guide our decisions and determine our success.
Inclusion & Diversity
We are committed to providing an environment which enables everyone to succeed. In doing so we are committed to enabling underrepresented groups, including members of the Indigenous community, the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with disabilities and women, to access the opportunities they deserve.
ACTUS is committed to increasing the presence of Indigenous workers at the workplace and creating diverse environments that represent the local community. We know from experience that having skilled and supported Indigenous workers as part of our team is good for both business and the community. Our aim is to work with a wide network of like-minded businesses and communities to increase Indigenous participation in the workforce. We are always open to partnering with new organisations that share our commitment.
To ensure we live up to our promises, we've embedded diversity in our everyday activities…
